Bring your Best Egg to Sullivan Square!

The Berwick "Best Egg Competition" is sure to ruffle some feathers as local eggs are put to the test of Best Egg! Do you have an eggcellent egg layer at home? Do you think your chicken, turkey, pea hen, emu, or guinea hen will lay the Best Egg in Berwick (on August 3rd)!?

Eggs will be judged by Dirigo Ranch Feed & Seed owners Rob & Morgan Harper and the winner will take home a blue ribbon and a bag of Poulin Grain Poultry Feed! The competition will happen at the upcoming festival, Bring your Lawn Chairs to Sullivan Square on August 3rd, 4-8PM.

Rules & Regulations

  • No egg-enhancement (decorations on the shell of the egg).

  • You are permitted to create a nest for the egg, no bigger than the size of an egg carton.

  • This nest may be decorated in any way you please to try and catch the Judges eyes and win their hearts.

Stop by the Dirigo Ranch Feed & Seed booth (by the mechanical bull, near Sullivan Square Fitness) to drop off your egg when you arrive. When you come to drop your egg off, you' will write your name next to a number and then take the corresponding number with you.

The winner will be announced on stage during the event. Winners must be present to win!
